If you are a customer and your service is up to date
with billing, you can participate in the beta
VPS at OVH.
For that, please subscribe to the mailing list

then you can place the order for the small VPS via
https://www.ovh.com/fr/commande/vps.cgi
(The order is a bit long, be patient)
It's free. We will start deliveries of VPS
Monday or Tuesday. You will test the "VPS small" of
1.1GHz with 512MB RAM and 10GB of disk space, that will
will cost 9.99€/month (with annual payment).
A little on the OVH VPS:
- You can choose between 3 types of VPS:
- With 10GB of disk space (VPS small)
- With 50GB of disk space (VPS medium)
- With 100GB of disk space (VPS large)
This choice is final and cannot be change
with time. It's fixed for life.
- Change CPU/RAM is dynamic up to 11GHz
and 7.5GB RAM.
You can change (increase or decrease):
- in burst (at 0.08€/hour "GHz in more"),
immediately with "StopAndGo" (in
Standard and Pro) or "Hot Add/Remove" (in Business)
- for good, as above
- SLA default:
- Standard SLA 99.9%
- Optional:
- Pro +10€/month = SLA 99.99%
- Business +30€/month = 99.99% SLA and change
CPU/RAM in hot (hot add/hot remove). In Standard and Pro, the
change of CPU/RAM will do a "StopAndGo" of the
VM (a cut of 30 seconds approximately).
The possibility to auto-adapt the power of the
VPS automatically every 1 hour.
The robot looks at the usage of CPU/RAM load and
decides to decrease, leave or increase the
VPS Power, live.
- We offer Linux and Windows
- UDP filtered (except DNS)
What remains to be validated:
- The type of payment (monthly, yearly or both)
- Determine whether port 25 is or is not
filtered/redirected to an OVH mail-out
- Distributions to use with the offer
What we won't offer:
- Other sizes of disk space
