OVH heeft herladen (e) de lijn van dedicated servers.

Op hoofdlijnen.

Er is zeer weinig nieuw materiaal dat beschikbaar is
en echt interessant in termen van prijs, betrouwbaarheid of
prestaties. De hybride disc, enz.. Laat. We
hebben geprobeerd veel hardware en herladen van het assortiment
focus, het lijkt ons, de "beste" van het moment.

Ten aanzien van de uitkeringen, voltooiden we
updates van al onze distributies in 64 bits.
We kunnen daarom overslaan limiet van RAM en 3Go/4Go
We hebben daarom besloten om de lat hoger voor een 8 GB
69euro server.

Ten slotte, een jaar geleden waren wij de eerste (enige?)
op servers met Intels SSD's te lanceren. We
wist dat de DSS niet een goede reputatie, maar hebben
We wisten ook dat Intel had uitstekend werk heeft verricht
Technologie SSD X25. Wij hebben daarom besloten
"Sponsor" de DSS om het aantrekkelijker te maken in
termen van prijs en dus kun je voor jezelf te oordelen.
12 maanden later kunnen we zeggen dat u geen
noch twijfel over de betrouwbaarheid of prestaties. Ook
Linux ondersteunt nu TRIM waardoor een betere
wissen te blokkeren. Kortom, alles wat vast en betrouwbaar. OVH
kunt de "sponsoring" van deze biedt wat
resulteerde in een toename van ongeveer 20 euro de prijs
nieuwe servers met DSS ten opzichte van het bereik
2010. Het heeft geen invloed op de prijs van de servers reeds verhuurd.

Ten slotte, zoals u weet, OVH beheert meer dan 80.000 servers
en servers kunnen veranderen handen 2-3 keer per jaar.
Dit heet de omzet. In de Cloud Computing omzet
is 2-3 keer per dag "op een dedicated server bij OVH
is 2-3 keer "per jaar". Hoe dan ook. We hebben besloten om te garanderen
de schijven worden geleverd in een nieuwe server
voor elke bestelling. Voor technische vragen, "nieuwe"
betekent voor ons "<1000 uur 'is minder dan zes weken.
Omdat we een verbetering van de productie-proces en we
Coupons elektrisch servers "op voorraad onbestelbaar"
maar je weet nooit, een bug of iets, en het zou
dom om te schijven ooit veranderen omdat
uitzonderlijk server wachtte zes weken voor
worden verkocht ... In ieder geval, zodra u de bestelling,
de vraag niet aan de orde: Je bent de eerste gebruiker
drives. En hebt u geen gebruik maken van de persoon
jouwe ...

Met betrekking tot de technische details van elk gebied. Er
de zware ...

Superplan, biedt 2X CPU, 2x meer
RAM, 2x meer schijven. Inderdaad, de SP scala passeert
nu op de nieuwe Intel i5 is een echte
4 cores / 4 threads. Bovendien heb je nu 8GB
RAM-schijven en RAID-2x1.5To en dit alles voor
69Euro HT / maand!

EG generaliseert Xeon CPU 4 cores / 8 threads
een Nehelem W3520 (i7). Het generaliseert ook 12GB RAM
op het bereik en harde 2x1.5To. U
Monteer een RAID-kaart-hard optioneel, vereist voor
ESXi werkt niet op RAID-SOFT. Netwerk
is 1Gbps.

MG wordt aangedreven door twee Intel CPU als de SP "i5" in Xeon
dus het geeft 8 cores en 8 threads met 24GB RAM en
2x1.5To met een 1Gbps verbinding. Er zijn prachtige
hybride configuraties perfect voor cloud computing.

HG wordt aangedreven door twee Intel Xeon CPU, zoals bv. "i7" is
dus het geeft acht cores en 16 draden met 24GB, 48GB, 98Go
128GB, 196Go van RAM en harde kaart. Netwerk
10GB is en er zijn twee voedingen in het chassis
met twee onafhankelijke bronnen. Alles om opslag
betrouwbaar en efficiënt.

AMD heeft goed gewerkt en we hebben besloten u
om ervan te genieten en ontwikkelen van een aanbod op basis van deze
(Nieuw) CPU? u om ons te vertellen ...

OVH gesponsord DSS, waarom niet sponsoren AMD?

AMD is een hexacore EG (6 kernen / 6 draden) met 16GB
2x1.5Go RAM en 1Gbps-netwerk voor 109Euro HT / maand.
Het is "Gamma-test" voor maximaal drie maanden is
zegt 50% (beperkt tot 100 servers). Het doel is
valideren van de prestaties met u, te valideren alle
distributies en bespreken met u een
AMD bereik met u, maar pragmatisch, met die
die besloten hebben om AMD en EG geïnteresseerd zijn in een hybride
of anders ... ? Wij spreken bewust. In
Na drie maanden max, schakelt de server naar de normale prijs.
Ofwel ga je naar de normale prijs of u stopt. Niet
De vastlegging van de cursus.

MG is een AMD dual octocore (16 cores/16 draden) met
32 GB RAM en 64 GB RAM. Discs 2X1.5Go. Evenzo
100 servers zijn in de "gamma-test" tot -50% voor max. 3
maanden.

Afgezien van -50% voor de "gamma" van deze 3 servers
een omweg waard ... vult HG AMD
in twee weken ... Baby core Core ... wolk baby wolk.

Alle servers hebben een standaard back-up en heel
optie die iedereen kent uit zijn hoofd. Deze servers
kunnen overschakelen op "Commercial" voor meer
RIPE IP-adressen, firewall of vrack. RAID-kaarten HARD
zijn verkrijgbaar bij de EG bereik, enz.. Kortom, het
standaard. Er is niets veranderd.

Je had beloofd de zware ... dan? Wat denk je?

OVH has reloaded our line of dedicated servers.

In general.

There is very little new material that is available
and of interest in terms of price, reliability or
performance. The disc hybrids etc.. We
have tried a lot of hardware and reloaded the range
now more focused, it seems to us, that this is the "best"
of the bunch at the moment.

Regarding the distributions, we completed
updates for all of our 64bit distributions.
We can therefore forget the limits of the RAM at 3GB/4GB
we therefore decided to raise the bar for an 8GB
server 69euro.

Finally, a year ago we were the first (the only?) ones
to launch servers with Intel's SSDs. We
knew that the DSS did not have a good reputation but
we also knew that Intel had done an excellent job
with the SSD X25 technology. We have therefore decided
to "Sponsor" the DSS and make it a more attractive proposition in
terms of price and therefore allow you be the judge for yourself.
12 months later we will be able to say that you are in no
doubt about the reliability and/or performance. Also
Linux is now supported with TRIM allowing better
erasing of blocks. In short, everything is fixed and reliable. OVH
cant cease the "sponsorship" of these offers which
have resulted in an increase of about 20euro in price for
new servers with DSS compared to the 2010 range.
It does not affect the price of servers already leased.

Finally, as you know, OVH manages over 80,000 servers
and servers may change hands 2-3 times per year.
This is called 'turnover'. For the Cloud Computing the turnover
can occur 2-3 times a day "on a dedicated server at OVH
this can be 2-3 times "a year". Anyway. We have decided to guarantee
the disks are shipped for all new servers
for each order. For technical questions, "new"
to us means "<1000 hours" is less than six weeks.
Because we have improved our production processes and we
electrically tag the servers "as stock undelivered"
but you never know, could be a bug or something, and it would be
stupid to have to change discs never used just because
the server has waited six weeks for
deployment ... In any case, once you place the order,
the question will not arise: you will be the first user
of the drives.

Turning to the technical details of each range. Its about to get
heavy ...

128GB, 196GB of RAM which are hard to map. Network
is 10GB and there are two power supplies in the chassis
with two independent sources. Everything for storage
is more reliable and efficient.

AMD has worked well and we decided you
should get to enjoy it and we have developed a range based on these
(New) CPU's? you to tell us ...

OVH sponsored DSS, why not sponsor AMD?

AMD is a hexacore EG (6 cores / 6 threads) with 16GB

say at about 50% of full cost(limited to 100 servers). The goal is to
validate the performance with you, validate all
distributions and discuss any reservations you may have with the
AMD line of servers, but pragmatically, for those
who have taken an AMD and an EG and are interested in a hybrid
or else ... ? We can speak knowledgeably.
After around three months max, the server switches to normal price.
Either you go for the normal price or you can stop. No
Commitment of course.

can switch to "Commercial" if you need more
RIPE IP addresses, firewall or vrack. RAID cards HARD
are available from the EG range, etc.. In short, the
standard. Nothing has changed.
