Alle settings in httpd stonden goed(met allowoverride enzo)
het was volgens mij gewoon een kwestie van een typfout in .htaccess (.htacess ofzo was het)
toen alsnog maar even apache herstart en toen werkte alles

oke het ziet er naar uit dat mod_rewrite dus niet aanstaat

Je moet het activeren, ik zou googelen naar 'enable mod rewrite (jouw OS naam)'
voor debian is het bijv.

(niet apache nog een keer instaleren!)
dit is niet echt een makkelijk karwijtje aangezien je niet bekend bent met linux, dus ik zou iemand op het forum vragen het te doen

zo ja, ga dan naar je site configuratie in de apache config (/etc/apache2/sites-available of /usr/local/apache2/sites-available of /etc/httpd of /usr/local/httpd) en zoek daar naar allowoverride (je moet apache herstarten als je het hebt aangepast)

het klinkt dom maar hier kan ik eigenlijk niet volgen. Ik maak dus een textbestand aan, zet er

phpinfo();

in en noem het dan info.php veronderstel ik. Maar dan kan ik effe niet meer volgen.

dit gaat al redelijk ver voor mij.


op /etc/staat geen apache2
op /usr/local/ook geen apache 2 of sites available
op /etc/httpd/ook niets

ik vind wel op /usr/local/apache/conf de httpd.conf maar daar had ik alles al op AllowOverride All gezet en apache herstart....

maak een nieuw php bestand aan

gooi erin;

phpinfo();

run het in je browser en kijk of mod_rewrite geladen is (bij Loaded Modules)
zo ja, ga dan naar je site configuratie in de apache config (/etc/apache2/sites-available of /usr/local/apache2/sites-available of /etc/httpd of /usr/local/httpd) en zoek daar naar allowoverride (je moet apache herstarten als je het hebt aangepast)

Hebben de files wel de goeie rechten en user misschien dat je daar een naar kunt kijken.

na de herinstallatie van mijn server heb ik op al mijn sites, welke allemaal in joomla zijn de volgende problemen.

als ik Zoekmachinevriendelijke URLs aanzet heb ik in al mijn titels index.php staan
een vb www.wacowebdesign.be. indien u daar een andere link aanklikt ziet u het meteen in de adresbalk.

als ik de mod_rewrite aanzet werkt enkel mijn homepage nog. voor de andere pagina's krijg ik dan deze melding:
Not Found

The requested URL /diensten/wat-doen-we.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

de index.php is dan wel weg maar hij vindt de rest niet.
vermits dit op alle sites is vermoed ik dat de oorzaak ergens bij de root zit van de server, en voor de herinstallatie van de server werkte alles wel....
ik heb de httpd.conf eens bekeken maar dat gaat mijn pet te boven. op google en forums kom je deze problemen nog tegen bij ovh maar ik zie niet echt een oplossing.
